Cambria
Stables offers a year-round lesson program taught by Erin Torbert.
All of Erin’s lessons are 1 hour long and are taught 7 days a week.
You are welcome to bring your own horse, or ride one of our well
schooled lesson horses. Erin teaches basic hunt seat equitation with
an emphasis on jumping. She also teaches western pleasure.

All
of the lessons taught at Cambria include teaching our students to
properly tack and groom their horses. We feel that all our riders
should not only know how to ride, but to be able to care for the
horses as well.
All
of our lessons are geared toward the individual. So if you’re just
a beginner rider or your an experienced rider looking to improve your
skills, we have a program for you.
The
ages for our lessons start at 6 years. For children under the age of
6, we offer ½ private lessons with one of our assistant instructors
on our miniature horses. The prices for lessons are as follows:
-
Group lessons (2-5 riders) - $30.00
-
Private lesson with Erin- $45.00
-
½ lesson with assistant (4 &5 year olds)- $30.00
Most
lessons are taught on a weekly basis, However, we are very flexible
and know you have a busy schedule. Lessons can also be taught every
other week or twice a week at your preference.

At
Cambria, we like to keep our students involved in the barn so on top
of weekly lessons we offer many optional programs for children and
adults such as:
- Showing- Cambria’s
students compete in many local and rated hunter and jumper shows year
round. We specialize in helping students prepare for competing in the
show ring.
- 4-H
Club- We
are very active in our local 4-H club The Bucks County Rough Riders.
This is for kids ages 7-18 and includes meetings, shows, clinics,
ect.
-Drill
Team- Cambria stables has formed our first ever Drill Team. This is open to
all students and boarders of all ages. The team puts on a performance
on horseback that is choreographed to music. Once a year we put on a
performance for everyone at the barn. Last season was our first and
was very successful! The girls had fun and looked great! We will be
starting our next season this fall.
Our girls waiting for their classes to begin at Stepping Stone Farm!
-Shows
at the barn- We host many fun shows and other activities at our facility such as a
summer 3rd of July party, Open house, clinics, ect.
If
you have any further questions about any of these activities or would
like to set up a lesson, please contact Erin.
At
Cambria Stables, we just want to see all our students do their best,
to be safe, and most of all, to have fun!
