SUMMER CAMP Want to treat your child to the best summer ever? Send them to summer camp at Cambria Stables! Our camp program runs for multiple weeks in the summer at our beautiful facility in Yardley, Pa. The camp is held right in the barn area so your kids can be around the horses all day! The camp is for children between the ages of 6-13 and each session runs Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM. We now offer ½ days for 4 and 5 year olds! The price of a one week session is $300.00 per child for the full day and $170.00 per child for the half day. We do offer discounts if you sign up multiple campers or sessions. Our camp includes: - Two hour long riding lessons a day - Fun lesson - Daily horsemanship lesson - Games and prizes - Opportunity to compete in a horse show - Pizza and ice cream on Fridays! Enjoying our slip n' slide! Our “fun lesson” consists of different activities on the horses such as riding bareback, trail rides around the farm, teaching the horses to drive carts pulled my miniature horses, different games on horseback, to name a few.
Just a few of our costume contest entries! Horsemanship lessons are taught daily by our knowledgable counselors. This is a chance for the kids to learn all about horses and not just riding. Some of the topics covered are horse breeds, first aid, basic care, grooming, ect. All the lessons are taught in a fun way including games, prizes and hands on activities.
Cambria Stables campers have the opportunity to participate in a camp horse show at Fox Heath horse farm on Thursday mornings. This show is an opportunity for all local farms to come together and gives the campers a chance to show off their skills! There are classes for all levels of riding (even the first time rider) and prizes are awarded to everyone. Parents and family members are encouraged to come! This is an optional activity and will cost an additional $60.00 to cover all trailering and show fees. If you choose not to attend, your child will have a regular day of camp. Decisions to participate don’t need to be made until mid week of camp.
